Jurisdiction

Small Business Administration (SBA). Any legislation reported by the Committee which relates to matters other than the functions of the SBA, at the request of the chair of any standing committee having jurisdiction over the subject matter extraneous to the SBA's functions, is to be considered and reported by such standing committee prior to its consideration by the Senate. Likewise, measures reported by other committees directly relating to the SBA, at the request of the chair of the Committee on Small Business, are to be referred to the Committee for consideration of any portions of the measure dealing with the SBA, and are to be reported by the Committee prior to their consideration by the Senate.

Study and survey by means of research and investigation all problems of American small business enterprises.
