Small Business Notes Small Business Notes allows three (3) days off, with pay, for a death in your immediate family. Immediate family includes parents, spouse, children, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, or grandchildren. You may request up to an additional two (2) days, which must be approved by your supervisor. If accrued vacation is available, this benefit will be used for the additional two days; otherwise, the additional two days will be unpaid. Funeral leave for death of other than immediate family must be approved by your supervisor. Absence for such a death is limited to two (2) days and will be unpaid. |
