Is It Really Easy to Sell to Your Friends and Family?

There are countless stories of folks who have destroyed their social foundation through pressuring friends and family to buy their products. Marketing through this method places stress on those relationships that may rupture them forever.

Retailing directly to friends on a one-to-one basis requires people to change their buying habits. Instead of picking up that bottle of shampoo while they are at the store, they must arrange to pick it up from you, perhaps paying a higher price. It is inconvenient - and collecting from friends can be a difficult challenge.
